MCS Summer School & ESS

Summer School and Extended Summer School (ESS)

Students have the opportunity to recover lost credits by attending Summer School and ESS. Classes are delivered online using APEX curriculum. Students who participate in Summer School and ESS must attend in person, attend every class on time, bring necessary materials, and make continual progress. Please note classes are not a “quick and easy” way to earn credits. Students may have homework and reading assignments outside of class. Attendance is taken every session and there are NO EXCUSED ABSENCES for Summer School and ESS.

Students will be dropped for the following reasons.

  • 9 hours of absence; they will be dropped on the 9th hour.

  • Not making adequate progress in the course.

  • Students missing the first day of class of summer school will be dropped.
